Pupils are admitted to Bamburgh School following an assessment of needs by the Local Authority SEND team, and in consultation with the Head Teacher and the Governing Body.
Arrangements are made by the Children & Young People Directorate of the Local Authority.
All pupils at our school have an Education Health Care Plan which identifies their
needs, an appropriate school placement and related information. This is written following a statutory assessment.
