Welcome!
Hi, I’m Mrs Wallbank and my passion in life is ensuring that everyone has the right to be heard, no matter how that may look.
Before joining Bamburgh, I spent many years supporting children with special educational needs in mainsteam settings. I have worked closely with many speech therapists and gained an indepth knowledge and understanding of speech, language and communication. I completed my certificate in higher education in childhood autism and was able to use the skills I’d learned from therapists alongside my understanding of autism to create meaningful communication methods. I have since completed my BA Hons in SEND and Inclusion and I use this knowledge to support your children everyday.
I joined Bamburgh in 2023 and have never looked back! I absolutely love supporting your children, helping them to achieve the highest level of speech, language and communication possible for them.
I believe that watching a child overcome their communication barrier is one of the greatest moments you can witness and I will be forever grateful that I get to do this regularly!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family. We have so much that we enjoy doing together it can get a little crazy at times!
Whether it’s a football game, a theatre show, a mountain hike, or a music concert, we’re forever creating lasting memories together. Life is too short to sit still!
