A number of pupils recently attended a South Shields FC match as part of an exciting Matchday Experience against Merthyr Town. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for the children to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of live football, supporting the team and learning more about the game. A highlight of the day saw 12 pupils take on the special role of flag bearers, proudly welcoming the players onto the pitch before kick-off. This memorable experience not only boosted their confidence but also gave them a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse into matchday traditions.
